Argentina's preliminary anti-dumping judgment on aluminum tube related to China

On November 11, 2019, the Ministry of production and labor of Argentina issued Resolution No. 1185 of 2019 in the official gazette, which made a preliminary anti-dumping decision on the aluminum tubes (Spanish: tubos dealuminio sin alaar o de aleaciones dealuminio de las series 3xxx o6xxx SEG ü n Norma IRAM 681, sin conformar) originating in Brazil and China, and took temporary anti-dumping measures: concerning the origin in China 69.03% of the provisional anti-dumping duty is levied on the products in question at FOB price, and 12.30% of the provisional anti-dumping duty is levied on the products in question originating in Brazil. The involved products are the 3 XXX series and 6 XXX series non formed non alloy or alloy aluminum tubes (including rolled aluminum tubes) with outer tube diameter less than or equal to 130 mm and specified in article 681 of the Argentine IRAM national standard. This case involves the products under the customs code 7608.10.00 and 7608.20.90 of Nanchong. The resolution shall come into force on the date of promulgation and shall be valid for four months.

On May 7, 2019, the Ministry of production and labor of Argentina issued Resolution No. 48 of 2019. At the application of Argentine enterprise aluminum manufacturers express S.A., an anti-dumping investigation was launched against aluminum tubes originating in Brazil and China. (From Alu)
