On October 31, 2019, the United States international trade commission (USITC) on imports from China of stainless steel Welded Pipe pressure (Circular Welded Austenitic, StainlessPressure Pipe) to the second anti-dumping and anti-subsidy sunset review of industry injury positive final, and at the same time on imports from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, stainless steel welding industry injury on the sunset anti-dumping review of pressure Pipe to make the first positive final: Within a reasonably foreseeable period, if the anti-dumping and countervailing duties on the products in question are lifted, the material injury to the domestic industry caused by the imports of the products in question will continue or re-occur.

 According to the above affirmative ruling, the existing anti-dumping and countervailing measures of the United States against imports of welded pressure tubes of stainless steel from China will remain in effect, and the existing anti-dumping measures against imports of welded pressure tubes of stainless steel from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam will remain in effect. This case involves products under U.S. harmonized tariff code 7306.40.5005, 7306.40.5040, 7306.40.5062, 7306.40.5064, 7306.40.5085 and some products under tariff code 7306.40.1010, 7306.40.1015, 7306.40.5042, 7306.40.5044, 7306.40.5080 and 7306.40.5090. On February 20, 2008, the United States initiated an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation against imports of stainless steel welded pressure tubes from China.

On March 17, 2009 and March 19, 2009, the United States formally imposed anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties on Chinese products involved in the case. On July 23, 2014, the United States extended its anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case for the first time. On August 12, 2014, the us extended for the first time the countervailing duty on products involved in the case against China. On June 6, 2013, the United States initiated an anti-dumping investigation against imports of stainless steel welded pressure pipes from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. On July 21, 2014, the United States formally imposed anti-dumping duties on products from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. On June 4, 2019, the us department of commerce (doc) announced the initiation of the second anti-dumping and anti-subsidy sunset review against imports of stainless steel welded pressure tubes from China and the first anti-dumping sunset review against imports of stainless steel welded pressure tubes from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. On October 2, 2019, the us department of commerce issued a notice announcing the first anti-dumping sunset review on imports of stainless steel welded pressure tubes from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. (From SMM)
