On November 5, the list of the 14th batch of restricted import applications approved in 2019 was released, and the import enterprises of copper and aluminum scrap were mainly concentrated in ningbo, xiamen and nanhai, guangdong. According to the public statistics, this batch of national copper scrap, aluminum scrap, scrap steel imports total 24,880 tons. The import approval of copper scrap is 11110 tons, that of aluminum scrap is 13770 tons, and that of iron and steel scrap is zero. Compared with the previous five batches, this batch significantly reduced. So far, approved imports of copper scrap in the fourth quarter were 68,475 tons, only 14 percent of the 484,217 tons in the third quarter. Imports of aluminium scrap were approved at 58,705 tonnes in the fourth quarter, only 14.5 per cent of the total of 405,416 tonnes in the third quarter.
