On October 29, 2019, the WTO safeguards committee issued the notification of safeguards submitted to it by the Jordanian delegation on October 28. The Jordanian council of ministers decided to terminate safeguards on imports of Aluminum Bars, Rods and Profiles. This case involves the products under the tax number 7604.On July 24, 2016, Jordan initiated a safeguard investigation against the import of aluminum bars, aluminum rods and aluminum profiles. On September 13, 2019, Jordan made the first positive and final decision of the sunset review of safeguard measures against imports of the products involved. (From Cnal)
