On October 24, 2019, the WTO Safeguard Measures Committee issued the safeguard measures notification that Oman submitted to it on behalf of the Gulf Cooperation Council. On October 23, 2019, gcc-tsaip volume (23) was published in the official gazette by the investigation authority of GCC, which initiated the safeguard measures investigation on the imported steel products.
