Russia considers building a floating nuclear power plant for India

According to the times of India, Russia's State Atomic Energy Corporation has publicly expressed its interest in developing a floating nuclear power plant with India, as well as other small and medium-sized reactors.

In early November 2019, Nikita mazein, vice president of the overseas branch of Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation, said at a nuclear conference in New Delhi that small reactors can be used in remote coastal areas of South Asia, such as the reactor and floating nuclear power plant currently under development in Russia.
