Jakarta, Nov. 6 - Indonesia is expected to decide on Thursday whether to resume exports of nickel ore after suspension of an investigation into illegal exports, Yunus saefulhak, head of Indonesia's Ministry of mines, said Wednesday.

Saefulhak said at the meeting that the maritime coordination department and the Ministry of investment in charge of the mining industry would meet on Thursday to assess the government's findings after reports that nickel ore violated export rules.

Meidy Katrin lengkey, Secretary General of the Indonesian Association of miners, said that 20 ships of nickel were currently in port due to the suspension of exports on October 28. (From CCMN)
